Board member for Hearts of Oak Vincent Sowah Odotei disclosed that the team hopes to hire a coach along the lines of the illustrious Pitso Mosimane of South Africa.

The Phobians have worked with eight coaches in the last three years, including interim coaches, and are now without a permanent head coach.

His assurance follows remarks made by Martin Koopman, the club’s former coach, who claimed that the board had swayed player choices.

“Those of us in charge of Hearts of Oak now, we want to bring someone like Pitso Mosimane. Can we afford him? Do you know how much he was being paid at Al Ahly?” Odotei told Asempa FM.

“The point I am trying to make is that when appointing a coach, a lot of considerations come into play.

“If the fans are patient with us a bit, we believe we will get to a stage where we can attract world class coaches.” He added.
