Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a Ghanaian media personality and event planner, recently attempted to set a Guinness World Record.

The socialite thrilled the nation by singing Ghanaian songs for an unofficial time of 126 hours and 52 minutes, potentially establishing her as the new record holder.

While waiting for formal certification from Guinness World Records, Afua has been seen on several occasions, including the Black Stars' recent farewell supper.

The goodbye dinner, organised in anticipation of the  AFCON in Cote d'Ivoire, was attended by several prominent individuals, including President Akufo-Addo and the Ghana Football Association's senior executive, Kurt Okraku.

Afua sang Ghana’s national anthem at the event to the admiration of guests present.

Her presence on such a high-profile occasion further underscored her growing prominence in the public eye.
